Is FingerInk really free?

Yes. The Free plan is free forever for 1 user: 2 templates, 10 signing requests per month, 20 stored, 5 MB uploads, 30-day retention. Legally binding e-signatures, encryption, audit trail, custom messages, and no watermark. Ads may appear in the free app experience.

Do free documents have a watermark?

No. FingerInk never watermarks your signed documents - not on Free, not on paid plans. Paid plans can use your own logo; a smaller Powered by FingerInk credit still appears on signing and emails.

Are signatures legally binding?

Yes. All plans include simple electronic signatures suitable for everyday contracts.

What file formats can I upload?

PDF, Word (DOCX/DOC), OpenDocument (ODT), RTF, common images (JPG, PNG, WebP, TIFF), and spreadsheets (XLSX, XLS, ODS, CSV). We convert as needed so signing stays simple.

Do I have to create a template?

No. Save as a template if you want to reuse the same document later. For a one-off, upload the file, place fields, and send.

Do signers need an account?

No. You send a secure link. They open it on their phone or computer and sign in a few seconds - no account needed. That's it.

What happens after they sign?

You automatically receive the signed file. On Business and above you can also auto-countersign from settings and send the finished PDF back to the signer.

Is this secure?

Files are encrypted. Every request keeps a real-time audit trail - who signed, when, and from where. You can download it as a PDF if a question ever comes up.

How does pricing work - is it per user?

No. Each plan has a flat monthly (or yearly) price for the whole workspace, plus a max number of users who can send and manage: Free and Pro = 1, Business = 5, Enterprise = 30. Custom is negotiated. Signers never count as seats.

What's the difference between Pro and Business?

Pro (€9/mo, or €90/yr with 2 months free) is for one person: higher limits, no ads, your logo, 1-year retention. Business (€49/mo, or €490/yr with 2 months free) adds up to 5 users with roles, unlimited volume, attachments, countersign, reminders, bulk send, and multi-signer.

What about Enterprise and Custom?

Enterprise (€149/mo, or €1,490/yr with 2 months free) is everything in Business for up to 30 users, plus advanced e-sign (AES) and longer retention. Custom is for seats beyond 30, SSO, invoice billing, SLA - contact us.

Can I send to many people at once?

Yes on Business and above. Bulk send lets you start many signing requests from your address book or a spreadsheet (CSV / Excel / Sheets).

Can more than one person sign the same document?

Yes on Business and above. Multi-signer sends the document to each person in sequence - one after another - until everyone has signed.

Can I use it on my phone?

Yes - both managing requests and signing. The signing experience is built for thumbs.
